"I would like to share some of my personal impressions about Ataraxia latest concert in Frassinoro. Since I know Ataraxia’s music it was my dream to see them live on stage. Finally this dream came true in this small but beautiful mountain village. The way from Budapest to Frassinoro is long and heavy. We (me and my wife) had a little talk with Vittorio before the concert and he said we are crazy to make this long way just to see Ataraxia. (Thank you Vittorio for your warm kindness). I was also lucky to see Ataraxia warming for the concert, and hearing the well known melodies made tremble already. Wenn tolle Einfälle (wie z.B. mehrstimmiger Gesang auf Stück 1, Rhythmuswechsel auf Stück 2, Melodiewechsel auf Stück 3, übernatürlicher Gesang auf Stück 6, u.v.a.), mit überzeugender Hingabe spielende Vollblutmusiker und eine ihresgleichen suchende, phantastische Frauenstimme zusammentreffen, muss das Resultat natürlich begeistern! Nicht ohne Grund bin ich in diesem Jahr schon dreimal (nur bis jetzt!) nach Italien gefahren, um den „Saphir“-Konzerten beizuwohnen. "Dear Francesca, my girlfriend and me were guests at Ataraxias concert in the Vamyria café on April 17th, 2004. We come from the South of Germany and we travelled to Italy only to see this concert. After arrival in Cella by taxi at 19.30h we were much too early in order to buy tickets and a kind man of the café was very surprised having guests from far away. He told us that we could wait inside the café, that we could buy the tickets later when the concert starts and that we could take part of Ataraxias sound check, if we would like – we were enormously surprised of course. To hear your voice during the sound check and to hear the two extra songs before the concert started (without audience) was an extreme pleasure for me, since Ataraxia is my favourite band. This experience alone was worth the whole journey! Now to the concert : The “Saphir” presentation was excellent.
