fascinates
me is how you succeed to make a totaly new album with a compilation. While
I was listening to "A Calliope...Collection" I regained the impression
like I was
hearing these songs for the very first time and I fell in love with them all
over again which proves the mastery of your musical craft. Even the new
songs "Arcana Eco" and "A Calliope" fits naturally in the
whole like they
were always there everpresent. Above all there's the metamorphosis
of pain into beauty which is the crucial moment in Ataraxia's opus, and it's
not
the beauty of pain (because there's no such thing), this is beauty over pain
reached through the process of creation which is painful and beautiful by
itself but that can't be reached without carrying the centuries on your shoulders
and have a soul big enough to gather all the captured feelings and
release them through inspiration in the form of a living song but this is
what Ataraxia are and the state you've reached and there's no space for
turning back, when you climb the Olympus once, there is no coming down - in
a
myth, I shouldn't tell that because you still share your glorious gift with
the world."
